The city of Plano is reaching a new height by being named often A Multicultural Capital of North Texas. The store with poetical name “Another Time & Place” became a true jewel in the crown of ethnically diverse city of Plano. It is a valuable addition to the The Shops at Legacy.
At the Grand Opening Ceremony, Texas dignitaries, like Mayor of Frisco Maher Maso and Mayor of Plano Harry LaRosiliere shared, the new store is inevitable to succeed in bright palette of cultural and business district of Plano.
Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony was highlighted by reach presence of people from different walks of life, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. We are, The Dallas Telegraph, pleased to state, many of our readers, especially from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, came to support Mehmet Celik. Our good friend Mehmet is known as the driving force behind International Events at his Turkish Cafe and Lounge.
Numerous guest of the Grand Opening Ceremony were amazed by the performances of The Violin Guy and a Belly Dance Show by Vickylin, Miss U.S. Belly Dance Queen. The Ceremony was sweetened by delicious Turkish appetizers, soft drinks, and Turkish wine.
Started by two brothers – Sadik and Mehmet Celik – the store is to bring cultures from around the world, especially Mediterranean, to North Texas. Sadik Celik shared, the new store is his long-time dream coming true. Mr. Sadik Celik was having a vision to introduce the culture of his ancestors and the cultures of surrounding countries to Texas.
Another Time & Place is not just a shop, where you can buy unique handmade masterpieces by old-school jewelers, artists, rug weavers, but it is a museum too. Here, at the store, the guests can marvel for hours, learning of fine-lines and spirit of the priceless items. Some of the masterpieces at the store are true witnesses of the history. And Mr. Sadik Celik, if you are lucky, will give you a tour true The Time & Place.
