Inscribe Upon the Tapestry of Time!

A mystical occurrence, the Third Thursday of May,
Ukrainian souls entwine, in vibrant display.
Vyshyvanka, the embroidered shirt divine,
Kindling unity, where boundaries decline.

From distant lands, Ukrainians stand tall,
Celebrating heritage, echoing the call.
A cultural symphony, spanning the globe’s expanse,
A tapestry woven, a dance of shared trance.

No tether to a holiday, it came to be,
Vyshyvanka Day, a spirit unbound and free.
Adorned in sacred threads, they proudly don,
A testament to identity, their hearts are one.

From village to city, hearts beat in accord,
Gender, status, beliefs, all lines ignored.
A tapestry of unity, politics put to rest,
In the tapestry of vyshyvankas, love is blessed.

Behold this gift, from U4U Texas it springs,
A portal to culture, where passion sings.
On this sacred day, let English words align,
With Ukraine’s embrace, a poem intertwine.
