Dallas-based Russian-Ukrainian newspaper of America The Dallas Telegraph monitors constantly situation in Ukraine. We watch on several screens reports from Ukraine, breakaway Donetsk Peoples Republic and Russian news. We noticed almost in real time, airplane was shot in Eastern Ukraine.
Leadership of so-called DPR (Donetsk Peoples Republic ) posted on their website the following:
“Сегодня в районе Тореза (ДНР) упал самолет украинских ВВС.
Существует версия, согласно которой над Торезом сбит АН-26.”
Today another Ukrainian military pain fell near Torez (DNP)
There is a version, it was AN26 plain that was shot down.

Igor Strelkov (Girkin) Igor Vsevolodovich Girkin (Russian: Игорь Всеволодович Гиркин), also known as Igor Ivanovich Strelkov (Russian: Игорь Иванович Стрелков), born on 17 December 1970, is a Russian citizen from who commands the Donbass People’s Militia paramilitary group and is a key figure behind the 2014 pro-Russian conflict in Ukraine. Strelkov was charged by Ukraine authorities with terrorism and is currently sanctioned by the European Union for his leading role in the insurgency in eastern Ukraine. By his admission he served in the Russian FSB until March 2013, and according to Ukrainian and EU authorities, he is a retired Russian military intelligence GRUcolonel who has previously participated in the 2014 Crimea crisis. On July 17, 2014, Girkin claimed on Facebook that his rebel group had shot down flight MH17 from Amsterdam, thinking that it was a Ukrainian flight.

Russian government TV station “Life News reported and posted on the website information reported by Strelkov:
All of above was an error. Passenger Boeing 777 was shot obviously by mistake. The target was Ukrainian transport plain AN-26.
