🌿 Russian Dallas is honored to share this powerful Easter 2022 greeting from Bishop Gerasim, recorded at St. Seraphim Orthodox Cathedral in Dallas, Texas.
🙏 Christ is Risen! Христос воскресе!
As Western Christians, Orthodox Christians, and Jewish communities observe Easter, Pascha, and Passover around the same time, Bishop Gerasim reflects on the shared themes of deliverance, hope, and victory over death.
In this moving message, he draws parallels between the Exodus of the Israelites and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, reminding us that Pascha is a celebration of a victory beyond hope — not through force, but through the love and power of God.
💬 “We have a message that does not come with weapons, but through the rod of God brings victory to the people of God.”
This message of unity, light, and resurrection comes at a time when the world is in need of healing. May it uplift your spirit and bring peace to your heart.
