“My husband, my little grandson, my family and my friends makes my world go round”, – Lilit.
Born in Armenia to an artistic family, Lilit’s passion for apparel design has been a life-long journey and she was fortunate to reach another milestone by receiving her B.F.A. degree in Fashion at University of North Texas. There she honed her skills in design, pattern making, draping, and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, which enable her to translate her inspirations into well-tailored garments.
Her design aesthetics are clean finished lines and simple construction with attention to the details. She is finding her inspiration in paintings, sculpture, architecture, and the varied characteristics of textiles. Her ultimate goal is creation of her own brand that is recognizable and is entirely made in the USA.
Lilit Matevosyan told us: “I am getting inspired by Dallas itself, by jazz or any type of music, by people walking down the streets, by art pieces, by events in our daily life and much more…”
